About Me
I started baneBerry Company at the beginning of 2018. I had spent 3 years studying and practicing web design when my Dad decided that he wanted to open his own Mobile Fleet Maintenance business. I knew that in order for my dad to be successful, he needed a strong online presence so I created his website, optimized it for local SEO, created his social media accounts, and his Google Business listing and he was off and running. The phone started ringing immediately and his business held the first spot in a Google search for three of his main services within 2 months. With the success of his first business, we decided to branch out even further and start a septic cleaning business. Unfortunately, my dad passed away before the Septic business got off the ground but after his passing, I worked directly with our business partner, and he and I started the business. Again I created the website and online presence and the phone started ringing almost immediately.
I have spent all of my career working in small businesses, both established and new, and what I have seen the most is that there is always more work than there are people to do the work. The majority of the time this falls back on the business owner and they are left wearing several hats. The problem with this is that there is only so much time in a day and instead of focusing their efforts on the tasks that create revenue, they end up focusing all of their time on the tasks that just need to get done to keep the business going such as bookkeeping, customer service, and marketing. Chances are if you, as a business owner, try to wear all of the hats in your business, you will spend your time spinning your wheels doing a whole bunch of things halfway instead of doing a couple of things really well. The things that increase your revenue and sales.
Having worked in small businesses, studied digital marketing and web design, and starting two successful businesses with my dad, I discovered a great need to simplify online marketing for small businesses. As a small business, your online presence needs are much different from those of large businesses that are selling products and services nationwide. You need the right people at the right time to find you locally. Which is why I have specialized in Local SEO. Typically small businesses do not have a huge marketing budget and don’t require all the fancy things that big businesses do. The greatest need for a small, service business is to get the phone to ring and get clients and customers scheduling appointments and booking your services.
